While Harry and Christine try to sort out their feelings, Dan kidnaps her.

Plot Summary Edit

In the Season 9 premiere, Harry masks his love for Christine, while a masked phantom, who's really Dan in disguise, resurfaces, after hitting "rock bottom", poses as "The Phantom of The Courthouse" (ala a sendup of "The Phantom of the Opera") in trying to vindicate himself and "rid the court of corruption", and hopefully find and "unmask" the real culprit, "holds Christine hostage" in the basement area beneath the courthouse and above the subway station, this on the eve of a big courthouse costume ball, prepares to make a grand entrance. When Dan goes missing, as NYPD Det. Frank Pepitone, who's been suspicious of him, tries to loacte him on the eve of Part 1 of two-episode story. Oscar: Gilbert Gottfried. Pepitone: Raye Birk.
