Gail Edwards (born September 27, 1952) appeared on Night Court, as prosecuting attorney Tracy Knight in the Season 7 episode "Attack of the Mac Snacks". Retired from acting since 1994, Gail is best known for her roles on ABC's It's a Living, NBC-TV's Blossom, and ABC-TV's Full House. Gail Was born and raised in Coral Gables, FL.
Upon graduating from the University of Miami, Cum Laude, Edwards wrote, produced, and starred in her own off-Broadway musical, “Becoming.” While in New York, she landed the role of ‘Sandy’ opposite Peter Gallagher in Broadway’s East Coast tour of “Grease.” After starring in two additional stage productions (both earning her the Drama-Logue Critics’ Award),
Edwards turned to television guest-starring on Happy Days Lou Grant,M*A*S*H, and Taxi. She went on to land a six-year series-regular role as Dot Higgins on ABC’s, It’s a Living. During this run, she appeared in numerous Movies of the Week, national commercials, and ongoing television roles including the costarring role in the premiere episode of “Amazing Stories,” directed by Steven Spielberg. Upon moving to the Southwest in 1994, Edwards retired while concluding her last two recurring roles on ABC-TV sitcom series Full House and the NBC-TV sitcom series Blossom.
