Linwood Boomer (born October 9, 1955) produced 22 episodes in the fifth season of Night Court beginning with the episode Her Honor (Part 3), and concluding with the episode "Danny Got His Gun (Part 1)". As a producer and screewriter, Linwood is perhaps best known for creating the popular FOX-TV sitcom series Malcom In the Middle.

Linwood also wrote seven episodes of Night Court, beginning with the episode Halloween II: The Return of Leon" in Season 4 and concluding with Season 5's "Mac's Millions"

CareerEdit

Linwood began his career as an actor. After playing Adam Kendall on NBC-TV's Little House on the Prairie series, he began focusing his talents on the behind-the-scenes aspects of television.

Boomer's writing and executive producing credits include Night Court, Flying Blind, The Boys Are Back, Townies, 3rd Rock from the Sun and God, the Devil and Bob. He also created and executive produced the pilots Family Business, Nice Try, and the U.S. version of Red Dwarf, and served as an executive producer under James L. Brooks for the pilot of Big. He also owns his own production company Satin City.
