Peggy McCay (born November 3, 1927) played the part of Lousie Kerr, a woman who was brought into court for allegedly shooting a pistol at her husband Phil, after she caught him in bed with a hooker in the Night Court series pilot, "All You Need Is Love".


A long-time veteran actress with a career lasting over 55 years in film and television, Peggy, qho was born and raised in New York City, has acted in numerous productions, as she is best known for playing the roles of Vanessa Dale on the CBS soap opera Love of Life (a role she played from 1951–55), and Caroline Brady, a role she originated in February 1983 on the long-running NBC daytime soap opera series Days of our Lives and has played since then.

She also played the part of Sharon DeSpain in an episode of The Andy Griffith Show titled "Class Reunion" in the serie's third season.
