Night Court: Season 2Edit

Season 2 of Night Court premiered on NBC-TV September 27, 1984. A total of 22 episodes were aired that season, which concluded on May 9, 1985.

Get ready for laughs, because court is in session — Night Court, that is! In this season, Harry experiences an unusual chemistry with a charismatic madam named Irene Danbury, played by Stella Stevens, who appears before his courtroom after brothel has been raided in the episode "Harry and the Madam"; Charles Robinson joins the cast as new court reporter Lana Wagner, who was played by Karen Austin in Season 1.

In the episode "Take My Wife, Please", Mac marries Quon Le (Denice Kumagai), a girl he knew in Vietnam, and Harry conducts court despite temporary blindness. Michael Richards, later of NBC-TV's Seinfeld, and formerly of the ABC-TV late night series Fridays fame, guest appears in the episode. Also, in the episode "An Old Flame, Selma's old beau (Jack Gilford) wants to rekindle their romance. Also, Ellen Foley joins the cast as new Public Defender Billie Young, who replaced the departed Paula Kelly, who played former defender Liz Williams.
