DescriptionEdit

The laughs happen at night -- at least they do in Night Court! The third season of this Emmy Award-winning comedy continues its light hearted look at the crazy cases and characters that appear in the Manhattan Municipal Court in New York City, where just about anything -- as well as everything -- seems to happen! In this season, (Christine Sullivan), who filled in for an absent Billie Young (Ellen Foley) in the season 3 episode "Christine and Mac (a.k.a. Daddy For the Defense)", joins the staff as Markie Post, from ABC-TV's The Fall Guy, permanently joins the cast in the role of the now-new Public Defender, replacing Foley in the cast. Also this season, Dan moonlights as a paid escort; Bull is in danger of being held in contempt of court; Judge Stone attempts to help his childhood and magician, The Fabulous Falcone (Carl Ballantine) Christine quits her job after a mugging; and, in a multi-episode story arc, lifelong bachelor Harry finds himself in an unfamiliar role when he volunteers to temporarily serve as a foster parent to a child named Leon (Bumper Robinson), a 12-year-old orphan boy.
