Stanley Brock (born Stanley Eis July 7, 1931-died January 25, 1991) appeared in various roles on Night Court, first as Vincent Frago in the Season 1 episode "The Eye of the Beholder"; he appeared in a total of four episodes in Seasons 2-7. Stanley was a veteran TV/film character actor whose career spanned from the early 1960's until the early 1990's.

Career[]

Stanley, who was usually cast in heavies or blue-collar type in his film and TV roles, made his first Hollywood appearance in 1961 in an episode of the TV series Naked City. Other TV show credits that came along for Stanley in the 1970's were Phyllis, Fish, Happy Days, Baretta, The Betty White Show, Police Story and The Rockford Files. In the 1980's, Stanley continued to make guest show appearances on such shows as Night Court, Trapper John, M.D..

Stan's film appearances included the critically acclaimed Black Like Me (1964), Made for Each Other (1971), Chesty Anderson, U.S. Navy, and the Made-for-TV films Steel Cowboy and Raid on Entebbe (1976), The World's Greatest Lover (1977), All The Marbles with Peter Falk, Night of The Comet (1984), and the 1990 Steven Seagal crime/action film Hard to Kill

He was delightful to watch as Bruno Bender on Barney Miller.

Stanley died of a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles.
